Arvi ki katliyan

Ingredients

  • Arvi (Colocasia roots) – 1.5 kg
  • Pissi Laal Mirchen (Red chilli powder) – 2.25 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) – 1.5 tsp
  • Haldi (Turmeric powder) – 1/4 tsp
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) – 1 tsp
  • Garm Masala (Whole spices powder) – 3/4 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tbs
  • Oil – almost 3/4 cup

Method

Step 1: Peel Arvi, cut, and apply Namak (1 tsp).

Mix and leave for 20 minutes. After that, wash properly.

Step 2: Add Zeera to Oil and cook for 10 – 15 seconds.

Step 3: Add Arvi and fry at medium to low flame for 2 – 3 minutes.

Step 4: Add Namak, Pissi Laal Mirchen and Haldi. Mix and cook for 3 – 4 minutes.

Step 5: Add Garm Masala and Lemon Juice.
