Authentic Russian Salad

Ingredients

  • Elbow macaroni: 1½ cup [before boiling]
  • Saib (Apple): 2 medium
  • Kaily (Banana): 3 small
  • Angoor (Grapes): 1 cup
  • Matar (Peas): ½ cup [boil for 5-6 minutes]
  • Gajar (Carrot): ¾ cup [boil for 6-8 minutes]
  • Aloo (Potato): 1 cup [boil for 6-8 minutes]
  • Chicken: 1 cup [boiled and shredded]
  • Mayonnaise: ¾ cup
  • Cream: 2 cups
  • Cheeni (Sugar): 12-15 tbs
  • Namak (Salt): ¾ tsp [to taste]
  • Pissi kali mirchen (Black pepper powder): 1½-1¾ tsp

Method

Step 1: Add Elbow macaroni, Saib (Apple), Kaily (Banana), Gajar (Carrot), Aloo (Potato), Matar (Peas), Angoor (Grapes), Chicken, Mayonnaise, Cream, Cheeni (Sugar), Namak (Salt), Pissi kali mirchen in a bowl and mix well.

Serve chilled.
