Ingredients
- Beef – 1 kg
- Piyaz (Onion) – 3
- Tamater (Tomatoes)- 2 large
- Lehsan (Garlic) paste – 1 tsp
- Adrak (Ginger) paste – 1 tsp
- Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder) – 2 tsp [heaped]
- Namak (Salt) – 1.5 tsp
- Haldi (Turmeric powder) – 1/4 tsp
- Dhaniya (Coriander) powder – 1 tsp
- Korma masala – 2 tbsp [level]
- Zeera (Cumin) powder – 1/2 tsp
- Qasoori methi – 2 tbsp
- Garm masala (Whole spices) powder – 1 tsp
- Bhuna Atta (Roasted Wheat Flour ) – 3/4 cup [make a thick paste by using water]
- Oil – 1 cup
- Sabz dhaniya (Green coriander) – for garnish
- Sabz mirchen (Green chillies) – for garnish
- Lemon slices – for garnish
Method
Step 1: Add Oil and Piyaz (Onion) to a pan and fry till golden brown.
Step 2: Add Tamater (Tomatoes) paste, Lehsan (Garlic) paste, Adrak (Ginger) paste, Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder), Namak (Salt), Haldi (Turmeric powder), Dhaniya (Coriander) powder, Zeera (Cumin) powder, Garm masala (Whole spices) powder, Qasoori methi, Korma masala, Beef and 1/4 cup of Water.
Step 3: Mix and cook for 3 – 4 minutes at medium to low flame. (or till the masala is ready)
Step 4: Add 2 liters of Water, mix, cover, and cook for 2 – 2.5 hours at low flame.
Step 5: Add Bhuna Atta (Roasted Wheat Flour) mixture gradually while mixing.
Step 6: Cook for 4 – 5 minutes at low flame.
Step 7: Garnish with Sabz dhaniya (Green coriander), Sabz mirchen (Green chillies), and Lemon slices.
