Lab-e-Shireen

Ingredients

  • Sawaiyan (Coloured vermicelli): ½ cup
  • Doodh (Milk): 1 liter
  • Condensed milk: ½ cup
  • Custard powder (Vanilla): 3 tbs [Mix in ½ cup of water]
  • Fruit cocktail
  • Saib (Apple): 1 large
  • Jelly [Banana]: ½ packet [Add ¾ cup of boiling water, mix well, and keep in the fridge for 30 minutes]
  • Jelly [Orange]: ½ packet [Add ¾ cup of boiling water, mix well, and keep in the fridge for 30 minutes]
  • Cream: 1 cup
  • Badam (Almonds): 4-5
  • Anjer (Fig): 4-5

Method

Step 1: Add Badam (Almonds) to a pan and dry roast for 40 seconds. Add Anjer (Fig) and roast it for 1 minute at a low flame with Badam (Almonds).

Step 2: Add Doodh (Milk), Sawaiyan (Coloured vermicelli), and Condensed milk in a pan, mix and cook at medium to low flame for 5-6 minutes.

Step 3: Add Custard powder paste and cook at medium to low flame for 3 minutes.

Step 4: Let the Custard cool at room temperature. Add Cream, Fruit Cocktail, Roasted nuts, Jelly, Saib (Apple), and mix well.

Serve chilled.
