- Maida (All purpose flour): 1 cup
- Coco powder: 6 tbs
- Namak (Salt): ¼ tsp
- Baking powder: 1 tsp
- Baking soda: ½ tsp
- Anday (Eggs): 3
- Cheeni (Sugar): 1 cup
- Oil: ½ cup
- Doodh (Milk): ½ cup
Step 1: Add Maida (All purpose flour), Coco powder, Namak (Salt), Baking powder, and Baking soda in a sifter and sift all dry ingredients together and mix well.
Step 2: Add Anday (Eggs) in a bowl and beat for 1 minute. Add Cheeni (Sugar) and beat till the mixture becomes pale yellow.
Step 3: Add half of the dry mixture to the egg mixture and fold (slightly mix). Add Oil, Doodh (Milk), and the remaining half-dry mixture and fold.
Step 4: Cut Butter paper according to the size of the baking dish as shown in the video. Grease the baking dish with Oil and place Butter paper.
Step 5: Pour cake batter into the baking dish. Tap 4-5 times. Preheat the pan for 10 minutes at medium flame. Bake at medium-low flame for 35-40 minutes.
Step 6: Now let it cool at room temperature.
- Whipping cream: 2 cups
- Doodh (Milk): ¼ cup
- Cocktail: ½ cup
- Cherries: as required
Step 1: Beat chilled Cream until stiff peaks are formed.
Step 2: Demold the cake, remove the butter paper, and cut the cake in two halves.
Step 3: Soak one part of the cake with milk, apply Cream, and add Cocktail.
Step 4: Place the second layer of cake, Soak with milk and crumb coat. Do the final coat and decorate with Chocolate shavings and cherries.
