Bread Rasmalai

Ingredients [Filling]

  • Khoya/Mava – 1 cup
  • Badam (Almonds) – 2-3 tbs
  • Doodh (Milk) – 2-3 tbs


Step 1: Add Khoya/Mava, Badam (Almonds) and Doodh (Milk) in a bowl and give it a good mix.


  • Bread slices – 10
  • Doodh (Milk) – 1¼ kg
  • Sabz elaichi (Green cardamom) – 5
  • Cheeni (Sugar) – ¾ cup
  • Cream – ¾ cup


Step 1: Cut bread slices into circles as shown in the video.

Step 2: Apply Khoya/Mava mixture on bread slice and cover with another slice as shown in the video. Layer it in a serving dish.

Step 3: Add Doodh (Milk) to a pan and cook till it begins to boil. Add Sabz elaichi (Green cardamom), Cheeni (Sugar), and cook at low flame for 5-6 minutes.

Step 4: Add remaining Khoya/Mava, mix and cook at medium to low flame for 10-12 minutes.

Step 5: Add Cream, mix and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Step 6: Pour prepared milk on bread and garnish with Almonds.

Refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
