Ingredients
- Keri (Raw Mango): 1 kg
- Cheeni (Sugar): 1 kg
- Pissi Laal Mirchen (Red Chilli powder): 1 tsp (level)
- Namak (Salt): 1.5 tsp (level)
- Zarda Rung (Food colour): 2-3 pinches
- Kalonji (Black Seeds): 1/2 tsp
- Sirka (Vinegar): 6-8 tbs
- Adrak (Ginger): 1-inch piece
- Pani (Water): 2.5 glasses
Method
Step 1: Add Keri (Raw Mango), Pani (Water) to a pan and cook for 2-4 minutes at medium flame.
Step 2: Add Adrak (Ginger), Pissi Laal Mirchen (Red Chilli powder), Namak (Salt), Kalonji (Black Seeds), Zarda Rung (Food colour), mix and cook at low flame till Keri (Raw Mango) is 3/4 done.
Step 3: Add Cheeni (Sugar), mix, and cook for 8-10 minutes at low flame.
Step 4: Add Sirka (Vinegar), mix, and cook for 2 minutes.
Keri ki Chatny is ready 🙂
