Ingredients:
- Chicken [boneless] – ½ kg
- Lehsan (Garlic) paste – 1 tsp
- Tamater (Tomatoes) – 2 medium
- Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder) – 1¼ tsp
- Namak (Salt) – 1 tsp
- Haldi (Turmeric powder) – ½ tsp
- Pissi kali mirchain (Black pepper powder) – ½ tsp
- Chat masala – ½ tsp
- Dhaniya (Coriander) powder – 1 tsp
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) – 1 tsp [roasted]
- Sabz dhaniya (Green coriander) – 2-3 tbs
- Lemu (Lemon) – ½
- Oil – 3-4 tbs
Method
Step 1: Add Lehsan (Garlic) paste in oil and mix for 30 to 40 seconds. Add Chicken and mix for 1 minute at medium to low flame.
Step 2: Add half of Tamater (tomato) and reserve the other half for later. Cover and cook at low flame for 3-4 minutes.
Step 3: Add Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder), Namak (Salt), Haldi (Turmeric powder), Dhaniya (Coriander) powder, Pissi kali mirch (Black pepper powder), Chat masala, Zeera (Cumin seeds), mix, cover and cook at low flame till Chicken is tender.
Step 4: Uncover and cook at medium to low flame for 2-3 minutes. Add the remaining half Tamater (Tomato), Lemon juice, Sabz dhaniya (Green coriander), and cook at low flame [without covering] for 2 minutes.
