Anda Qeema

Ingredients

  • Anday (Eggs) – 3 [boiled and grated]
  • Piyaz (Onion) – 1 medium
  • Tamater (tomato) – 1 medium
  • Namak (Salt) – ½ tsp
  • Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder) – ¾ tsp
  • Haldi (Turmeric powder) – ¼ tsp
  • Chat masala – ¼ tsp
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) – ½ tsp
  • Pani (Water) – ½ cup
  • Sabz mirchen (Green chillies) – 2-3
  • Sabz dhaniya (Green coriander) – 2-3 tbs
  • Anda (Egg) – 1
  • Ghee – 1 tbs

Method

Step 1: Add Piyaz (Onion) in oil and cook till they become soft. Add Tamater (Tomato) and mix for 30 seconds. Add Namak (Salt), Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder), Haldi (Turmeric powder), Chat masala, Zeera (Cumin seeds), Sabz mirchen (Green chillies), Sabz dhaniya (Green coriander), and mix. Add ½ cup of Pani (Water) and mash the mixture with the help of a masher. Cook at medium to low flame till oil separates. [As shown in the video]

Step 2: Add boiled Anday (Eggs) and 2-3 tbs of Pani (Water) and mix well. Dish out on a serving plate.

Step 3: Add Ghee and Anda (Egg) in a frying pan and mix till the egg is half-fried. After that, add the half-fired egg over the previously prepared egg mixture. Mix it as shown in the video.

  • Ghee – 1 tbs
  • Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder) – ¼ tsp

Method

Step 4: Add Ghee and Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder) to the frying pan. Mix well and pour over the egg mixture.
