Pakora Chilli Bites

Ingredients: [Filling]

  • Bullet chillies : as required
  • Aloo (Potatoes) – 2 large [boiled and mashed]
  • Anday (Eggs) – 2 [boiled and cut in cubes]
  • Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder) – 1 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) – ¾ tsp
  • Chat masala – 1¼ tsp
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) – 1 tsp
  • Mayonnaise – 2-3 tbs

Method

Step 1: Make a slit in the Chillies, deseed and set aside.

Step 2: Add mashed Aloo (Potatoes), Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder), Namak (Salt), Chat masala, Zeera (Cumin seeds), Mayonnaise, Boiled Anday (Eggs) in a bowl and mix well.

Step 3: Stuff potato mixture in the chillies and set aside.

Ingredients: [Batter]

  • Baisan (Gram flour) – 1 cup
  • Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder) – 1 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) – ½ tsp
  • Lemun ka ras (Lemon juice) – 1 tbs

Method

Step 4: Add Baisan (Gram flour), Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder), Namak (Salt), Lemun ka rus (Lemon juice) in a bowl and mix. Gradually add Pani (Water) and mix until well combined.

Step 5: Dip the stuffed chillies in pakora mixture and fry in hot oil at medium flame till golden brown.
