Chicken Preparation
Ingredients
Chicken | ½ kg |
Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder) | ½ tsp |
Namak (Salt) | ½ tsp |
Pissi kali mirchen (Black pepper powder) | ½ tsp |
Tikka masala | 1 tsp |
Shakker (Jaggery) | 1 tsp |
Ketchup | 2 tbs |
Chilli garlic sauce | 2 tbs |
Soy sauce | 1 tbs |
Sirka (Vinegar) | 1 tbs |
Stock/water | ½ cup |
Method
Step 1: Saute Chicken in 2 tbs of oil for 2 minutes at medium to low flame.
Step 2: Add Lehsan paste (Garlic paste), mix, cover, and cook for 30-40 seconds at medium to low flame.
Step 3: Add Tikka masala, Pissi laal mirchen (Red chilli powder), Namak (Salt), Pissi kali mirchen (Black pepper powder), ½ cup of Water. Mix, cover, and cook on low flame till chicken is tender.
Step 4: Add Ketchup, Chilli garlic sauce, Soy sauce, Sirka (Vinegar), mix and cook at high flame till all water evaporates.
Step 5: Add Shakker (Jaggery), mix and turn off the flame flame.
Noodles preparation
Ingredients
Noodles [boiled as per packet instructions] | 1 pack |
Gajar (Carrot) | 1 medium |
Shimla mirch (Green capsicum) | 2 medium |
Namak (Salt) | ¾ tsp |
Pissi kali mirchen (Black pepper powder) | 1 tsp |
Oil | ¼ cup |
Method
Step 1: Add Oil, Gajar (Carrot) in a pan and saute for 30 seconds at high flame.
Step 2: Add Shimla mirch (Green capsicum) and saute for 1 minute. Add Namak (Salt), Pissi kali mirchen (Black pepper powder) and mix. Add boiled noodles, mix well and set aside.
Rice preparation
Ingredients
Chawal (Rice) [sella] | 2 glasses |
Namak (Salt) | 4 tsp |
Pani (Water) | 3 litres |
Method
Step 1: Add Pani (Water), Namak (Salt) in a pan. Cover and cook till Water begins to boil.
Step 2: Add Chawal (Rice) and boil till they are fully cooked. Strain and rinse through tap water.
Sauce preparation
Ingredients
Mayonnaise | 6 tbs |
Ketchup | 3 tbs |
Chilli garlic sauce | 1 tbs |
Method
Step 1: Mix all ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Tarka preparation
Ingredients
Lehsan (Garlic) [cut in thin slices] | 8 cloves |
Sabz mirchen (Green chillies) [cut in halves] | 8 |
Oil | 3-4 tbs |
Method
step 1: Fry Lehsan (Garlic), Sabz mirchen (Green chillies) till golden brown.
Assembling
Step 1: First make layer of boiled Chawal (Rice), Second layer of Noodles, third layer of Chicken. Pour the Tarka on it and in the last drizzle sauce .
